Support Hope House Donate Today
Founders Day benefits Hope House, a domestic violence shelter in Mineral Wells, and the beneficiary of our single largest donation each year. Can't join us on December 3, or want to give ahead of the event? You can now donate directly to Hope, Inc. online through Zeffy. 100% of your donation goes to their mission, and you'll receive a tax receipt for your gift.
JOIN us
Join us for our annual Founders Day event, where we celebrate the founding of the Maverick Region of the PCA. We began in November 1962 with just 15 members, and we've grown to more than 4,000 members today.
Event Details
Let's celebrate our founding at Porsche Grapevine from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. You'll enjoy a buffet of house salad, rosemary grilled chicken, or flank steak in a red wine demi-glace — or, for our vegan guests, a roasted cauliflower bowl — served with mashed potatoes, grilled veggies, and jalapeño cheddar bread. For dessert, assorted sweet shots from Uncle Willie's Pies.
There will be a DJ to entertain us, a beautifully decorated Christmas tree for photos — with fun props to liven up your pictures — and maybe a game or two!
Awards and Charity
We'll recognize our James Shoffit Award winner and our Maverick Woman Behind the Wheel winner. And of course, we'll have many door prizes, and you'll be eligible for them with your donation to support Hope House. Hope House, a domestic violence shelter in Mineral Wells, is the beneficiary of our single largest donation each year. And if you bring your children, we'll have some PCA Jr. swag for them as well!
